double fistin'

Huge thanks to all of you who graciously came-alongside us today. Knowing that so many of his friends and family were fasting with him was a big encouragement to Isaiah. The day was rough at moments but Isaiah pushed through! He had such a look of relief on his face when he woke up from the anesthesia, asked "Can I eat now?", and we said, "Yes!"

We won't hear the results of today's tests until early next week. We're hoping to hear that the leukemia is officially "in remission." Then it will be "one big month down" and many more to go. Thank you for walking this road with us.

Isaiah you really are our superman. You are so tough and just when I think you can't get any stronger and braver, you do! I do not know anyone tougher than you. You make me so proud of you! I am also so proud of the way I have seen you put your trust in God even when you don't feel so good. That is really being strong and courageous!!! I love you so much!
Your godmother,
Angela

A picture truly is worth a thousand words! I was happy to break my fast with a refreshing Diet Coke and then lunch at my desk. At work today, I mentioned your family to my co-workers and asked them to join their thoughts and prayers with all of the others coming your way today and in the weeks ahead. We will keep them coming! Madge :)

Way to go Isaiah! Love those pictures of you with a burger in each fist. I was hungry this morning but knew that I could make it because you could make it. I'll be praying your test results next week are good ones.

Hey Isaiah! Boy did I want to eat this morning, but I thought if you could fast for half a day so could I. I broke my fast with a salmon salad with avocados and tomatoes. I wanted to eat at "In and Out" but I'm a lot older and fatter than you are (:

You look great with those two big burgers. You are such a brave, big boy! Wow! I am inspired by your toughness and courage.

Isaiah, I'm praying for continued healing for you and your family.

Love Michelle

P.S.

This is a neat quote...

For not only do people need food, but they need also the touch of a hand, the sound of a voice. For food lasts but a day, but love is for always.

Isaiah,

Mmmmmm... those burgers look gooooood!! You don't even look like you went through surgery in those pictures! How do you do that??
Yesterday the boys and I went blueberry picking with some friends. I wanted to EAT every berry I was picking, but I didn't! Instead, I spent some very sweet time praying for you and for your mom, dad and sister while I was picking those beautiful berries. I came home with SOOOO many blueberries too! :0) Do you like blueberries? I would love to share some with you. I'll bring some to church to give to your dad, okay?
We will continue praying for those results, buddy! We know with that smile and all those super powers of yours though... we're going to hear GOOD NEWS!! Hugs to you all...

Love,

Tami

Wow not only was I hungry, but I got a headache. It was so worth it to be able to partner with what all of you were going through. I was praying that you would be able to stay busy and the time would pass quickly. Love the pictures!!! Your reward looked worth the wait!!
Love you all,

Hey Isaiah!!
Wow!! You did great!! There is no way I could even skip lunch without having a cry!! I am so proud of you!! I am jealous too because while you were eating yummy In-N-Out Burgers I was stuck eating this disgusting camp Hotdogs and I am allergic to them!! I could only eat the fries next to it!! Your a lucky duck!! I hope you enjoyed them!! Guess what?? I went to camp this week and every night they had a big table with a black table cloth on it covered with candles and you could light one for someone you love and care about. And guess what?? I lit one for you!! I lit one for you every single night. They also had little pieces of paper that you could write someones name on it so that the grown ups could read it and pray for that thing too!! I put you name on one of them every night too. I love you Superman and I hope you keep it up!!
