maintenance delayed

The little guy's blood counts were too low to proceed with treatment as planned today. So we're pushing the next phase back at least one week. Thank you to Jacob for fasting with Isaiah and spending the whole day playing and talking about Star Wars. Thanks to Sarah for the delicious dinner. Thanks to all of you for praying for us.

Isaiah,

We got a SMALL taste of hospital stays and fasting today because Caleb had his tonsils and adenoids taken out. After this small taste... we know how VERY brave you AND your family are! Just wanted you to know that we are all sending up lots of prayers every day for you and the boys are especially praying for lots of baseball in your near future! Hugs to all of you...

You are all in my thoughts and prayers throughout the day.

I found another great place to give mindful gifts...Heifer International. They provide livestock to families in impoverised nations. It's a great organization. The gift site is fun too, Isaiah, because there are a lot of cute animal pictures.

Dear all,

I just wanted to let you know that we continue to pray for Isaiah and your family; we have not forgotten any of you. I can only imagine just how difficult all of this has been. Please continue to rest in the loving arms of our heavenly father. When we experience such long valleys, the sense of sadness and grief can be overwhelming. Lean on the Lord, he will build you up when you are faltering; he will strengthen you when you are weak; he will bring joy to you, when you think there is none left; and he will comfort you in a way no human can find on their own. He loves all of you; and he is watchful over his precious child Isaiah. Always remember he has not abandoned you and he never will.
