last fast (for a while)

Isaiah was strong at today's doctor's appointment. His appetite is mostly gone with this new chemo he's receiving so the fasting was a bit easier as well.

For the next three weeks we're scheduled for simple check-ups and chemo therapy through his port. This means no more spinal taps and fasting for a while.

Thank you for standing and praying with us today.

Hi Isaiah, Sienna, Carmen and Nate!

Psalm 63:1-8
O God, you are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you,
my body longs for you,
in a dry and weary land
where there is no water.

I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and glory.
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.
My soul will be satisfied with the richest of foods,
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through the watches of the night.
Because you are my help,
I sing in the shadow of your wings.
My soul clings to you;
your right hand upholds me.

Steps forward, and we all pray that the days ahead are more restful for all of you. Superman Isaiah, we are all so proud of you. You are one strong little boy. I wonder what you will grow up to be....maybe a homerun batter, or the quarterback for a Superbowl team!!! But for now be the wonderful little boy that you are. Be sure to hug Sienna for us, and a hug for your Mom and Dad too. Peace for all of you and we all send love from San Diego.

Isaiah, We miss seeing you. I heard you received decorations and goodies for your birthday party this year. We can't wait to celebrate with you. Are you dressing up as chicken little?? Bella and Santana can't wait to go to your party. They know you will all have a great time. We will keep you in our prayers, as always. Bella wants to tell you that she thinks you are very brave!
(you really are!) Catch you later kid!

HI Isaiah!

I hope you were feeling a little better today. I've heard about the pain that you've had lately in your back (even when you sneeze). That's not a lot of fun... I know. Hopefully, you are getting some good rest for that back though. We are praying that it heals and feels a little bit better each day. :0)

You are such a sweet boy, and our thoughts and prayers are with you RIGHT NOW!

Hugs,

Tami
