kicking-off week 2 of delayed intensification

We just returned from a long day at the hospital. Isaiah received two types of chemo which he seems to be handling well. He felt sick for a little bit but mostly has just been very tired. After his appointment we shared a "bowl of soul" and a delicious pastry at Tupelo's cafe. He continues to have a great attitude about this whole process, which is very encouraging. Thanks for checking in! Isaiah is really enjoying reading your comments these days. We've changed the settings so you don't have to sign in to leave a note...so please give a shout out to Superman. More news later!

Hi Isaiah
What a darling picture of you. We pray for you everyday, even Daniel (2) says "dear God Isaiah heart amen" several (and I mean several) times a day! Drew and Zach wish they could light saber fight with you and Ella wants to know if Sienna likes princess Leah? Hope your week goes well.

Hi Isaiah! This is Tara Della Rocca - the teacher from the 4th grade in NY who sent you the letters in June. I just wanted you to know that I'm keeping up on how you are doing by reading this blog often. I'm sending you as much positive energy as I can and I'm constantly impressed by how courageous you are. You're amazing! I know you'll get through this - I just hope that it gets easier every day.
Peace Superman,
Tara

Thanks Nate for opening this up. I've tried often to sign in and always mess it up. So much for being computer literate or maybe illiterate.
I've been praying continuously for little Superman. I don't know how he does, but by the grace of God. You're family is amazing with all that is going on in your lives. I've been praying for strength for Carmen, Sienna and yourself to get through this ordeal. You know who is in control of all this. And you are being blessed by His presence.

Dear Isaiah,
So glad to find that your Dad made doing this easier
...we have been wanting to write you for a long time!
We have been friends of your whole fmaily for many years and so you were special to us before you were even born! We have been praying for you and your Mom and Dad and Sienna from the very beginning of this journey. Our grandhildren are praying for you, too. Thank you for that incredible smile that you have. It makes me smile and blesses my heart every time I see it. :-) And than you for the lessons in courage that you are giving me. You are one on my heros! Much Love, Oma and Opa Stutzman

Hi Isaiah,
I have been following your blog for months because my 5 year old grandson had a brain tumor and is also undergoing chemo right now. He has already had surgery and radiation. His name is Drake and he is also a patient of Dr. Yim. Maybe you will see him someday. He is a brave little boy just like you. We pray for you every day just like we pray for our Drake.

Stay strong,

Drake's Nana

Isaiah,

I have been reading about you ever since your daddy started the blog. I have never met you, but I am Tarissa and Tami's daddy and Luke, Colby, and Caleb's papa. I'm so proud of the big boy you are and how brave you have been these past months. Your words have blessed me so many times. The next time I visit your church, I would like to meet you. God bless you and I will continue to pray for you!

Hi Isaiah,
You don't know me, but I've been reading about how strong you are. This weekend I ran a half-marathon benefitting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. While I was running I thought about you and how brave you are and it inspired me to keep running even though it was hurting. I just wanted you to know that through your struggles you are touching the lives of many others, some who you don't even know! I will continue you to pray for you and your family.
