day at the river

We spent New Year's Day at one of our favorite places, the American River confluence, bouldering and exploring. It was a good first day of 2008.

Have you ever gone up that road (further up the road from the confluence area) that goes right along the river and eventually ends up near the motorcross track? The road is very flat, paved with packed gravel and it's a fun bike ride...especially in the spring. I think there is a naturalist who leads guided tours upon request.

Hugs to all.

Isaiah - what an awesome day to spend on the first day of the year. You and Sienna are up so high. Looks like that was a fun trip. I'm glad you get to go do some cool things with your dad. And of course Sienna and Mom. Keeping you in my prayers for strength and rehabilitation. As you know God is the great physician that will heal you.
Sending you love and hugs your way from Sutter Creek.

Hi, Isaiah! I am praying that God will make you STRONG. In Eph. 6:10 it says, "GOD is STRONG, and HE wants YOU STRONG." I think that is true for you. I am praying that he will do what He says He wants to do for you - and I am praying for Sierra and your mommy and daddy, too.

love,
