it's a daisy

We finally had our family Christmas morning today!  Isaiah got a bb gun (which is a testament to his dad's impressive persuasive skills...).

Sienna got cowgirl boots in anticipation of her up-coming riding class.

We enjoyed a great breakfast together...banana pancakes and lavender tea.

And then we went shootin!  (Check out her boots!)

They're both crack shots!

Papa got in on the action.  He's still got it.

I love this shot.

It was a great day.  Thanks for sharing with us.

Good to see you all looking a little more rested. I'm a big believer that it doesn't matter what day you get your 'family' Christmas in, as long as you get to do it.

I can not believe he got a real bb gun!

All I can think of when I saw that Isaiah got a BB gun was the classic movie "Christmas Story." Sorry to hear that you had to spend Christmas in the hospital, but as you said, at least you were together! Thanks for the update and the great pictures! God Bless - Scott Ritter ~~

Hey Isaiah,
Sweet rifle that is awesome dude. I have the same one I got when I was your age too. Maybe we can shoot them together soon.
Love,

I must now go and explain why when you live in the middle of a big city you don't get a bb gun until you are MUCH older:)

May the Lord bless you and give you a great new year! This year has had some glorious moments amidst struggles, so next year we're praying for the balance to lean toward even more wonderful days.
