one step closer...

Thanks very much for praying for Isaiah today during his fast and spinal tap. He was a champ, as always. We talked this morning about training our wills to say "shhh" to our stomachs. He seemed very strong all day. Sienna came along and cared for her brother well, as usual. We're grateful for her caring heart. Carmen and I feel that special kind of tired that always comes after a day at the hospital. There's a lot of sadness there. Grateful for you all and longing for that Great Day, Nathan (for all of us)

Isaiah,

Glad to hear you had another strong and courageous day. You are an example and encouragement to me to be strong and courageous when I am facing tough challenges in life.

I don't know about you but my stomach was pretty noisy today. It sure felt good to eat again, but was also good to take time to think about God and how much He loves us. Feeling loved seems to help more than anything in the hard times.

Dear Isaiah,
I am so proud of you for getting through that difficult day. You continue to amaze me over and over again. I think that you are lucky to have such a sweet big sister. Give Sienna a big hug for me! We love you guys. Have a great and restful weekend together.

Your strength is an encouragement to me too, Isaiah. I had already eaten today before I heard the news you were fasting, but I've been praying for you and knew you'd do great. I'm so happy to hear your spine is stabile and will continue to pray for your stomach.

Love and Light,

Michelle
