day at the ballpark

We all played hooky today and took in a day game at Raley Field. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and time to catch up with one another. Here's Isaiah - post-sunscreen - looking a bit more pale than normal.
There were foul balls-a-plenty in our area and Isaiah ended up with one - much to his delight! After the game the RiverCats' third baseman, Jeff Baisley, who hit two homers during the game, was kind enough to sign it. Isaiah was thrilled.

Thanks for celebrating the happy moments with us. We're thanking God for such a rich day.

Hey bud'...

We were at the game yesterday too!! Wasn't is fun? It was PERFECT baseball weather. Those homers were awesome too! Lucas had a ball that he wanted Jeff to sign, but we had to leave before the end of the game to get Colby to gymnastics. The boys will be so happy for you that you got a ball signed (there might be a little streak of jealousy there too). We're so glad that you got to go and enjoy the day. Maybe we could catch a game together sometime. :0)

Love,

Tami and co.

Teacher Penny-

Just wanted to let you know that the man singing the National Anthem at the River Cats game was Greg Benson. Greg just retired from Beale Air Force Base and is an awesome man of God who attends Heritage Church.
