time is just moving

Friends, please forgive the long delay in our updating you...

We've been hustling around - it seems - for the last few weeks. It's a big blur. Isaiah is feeling pretty good, with some back pain and severe mood swings as he's come down off his last steroid dose.

We're gearing up for t-ball with high hopes that Isaiah will be allowed to play. We have a few key appointments in coming weeks regarding his back.

Yesterday, as I was celebrating communion at our church, out of the corner of my eye I noticed someone lighting a candle at one of our side altar tables. A closer look revealed that it was Isaiah - all by himself. As I put him to bed last night I asked him, "Who were you praying for today when you lit that candle?" He just smiled, as though he knew more than I did about the whole situation, looked me in the eye and replied, "You."

Thank you for the update! I'm glad you guys have just been busy, as I was more concerned that there was something we weren't aware of happening.

I'm in total awe and the wise soul that Isaiah has. He is such an incredible inspiration to me!! Words can't express how my heart over flows by his words and actions. May God lay His hands upon you, Isaiah, and hold you so very close to His heart. Keep smiling and trusting God! You are an AMAZING young man!

Always,

Taria

Isiah... your kind, caring little heart continues to bring me to tears when I read about the amazing things you do and say. I check the blog daily for any updates, and my prayers are daily as well... for I pray that God heals your body and keeps his arms wrapped tightly around you and your family. And that you grow big and strong to show the world how great God truly is. Much love to you!!!

Well Master Commander - you cease to amaze me. You are an incredible insight to life in general. I'm so glad to hear that you are praying for your DAD, as you pull through this incredible journey. May rest be on your family as I can imagine how worn out everyone is. Prayers are continued your way on a daily basis. Keep the Faith as you know He is the great healer.

And your hair is growing. I think you need a haircut already.
Love to all.

Isaiah, reading about you praying for your dad just warmed my heart to tears. I love to hear of the sweet boy that you are and that God continues to develop you into. Thank you so much for being such a good play buddy, and a friend that Aaron can look up to. We love you so much and pray that God will protect you, heal you, and make you stronger each day.
