have a good day
I kissed Isaiah goodbye yesterday as I left for work and said, as I often do, "Have a good day." His response came quick and confident: "I will!"
It was the way he said it that I want to remember: so sure, so full of anticipation, like he was proclaiming his decision to experience the wonder of every moment.

october
Isaiah was at the clinic today for s0me some Vincristine and a blood check. He's feeling good, which is always remarkable to me. Friends who have had Vincristine tell me it's brutal stuff. Isaiah seems tired but happy. We're about to watch a movie together but wanted to thank all of you for your strong support of our family.

silly boys
Friends, thanks for checking in on Isaiah's blog. It's always so encouraging to hear who is sticking with us!Isaiah had a quick appointment today. The good news: His back is stable. There are no new fractures and the existing ones have not further deteriorated. Good news indeed. The not-so-good news: His ANC has dropped from 2900 two weeks ago to 300, probably due to a slight increase in one of his chemotherapy drugs. So we're nutrapenic which means lots of hand-washing and very limited contact. Please pray that he'll bounce back quickly and stay healthy!
